I have keenly followed the lives and loves of The Magic Willows of Willow Springs, Texas. Maura, Addy, Gigi, Ivy and Coco. It was an adventure following the book series chronologically.
CLAIMED sadly, is the fifth and final book in the series and I felt it was the most emotional. Make sure you read right to the end of the second epilogue, as it catches you up with the lives of all five couples and what their off spring are up to.Ivy Baron never thought she would be the last of the Willows to marry. As a teen, she was dating Ty Greene, and, already in love, they had a happy future planned. But Ty’s family exploded in shock and shame and Ty suddenly left home with his mother and sister, settling in Nashville. It’s been five years and Ivy has blocked Ty on her phone, so she doesn’t know what his life is now. While Ty has become a country singing sensation, he has never been able to give his heart to another woman. It still belongs in Willow Springs.Ivy now owns The Wedding Bells, a wedding planning business. With Ty’s sister Talia getting married and using Ivy’s services, it won’t be long before she sees Ty in town.Their first meeting is memorable for all the wrong reasons, but they finally get to talk and forgive things from the past. But Ty is still set on his career, while Ivy is tied to Willow Springs through work and family. It’s hard to see where a compromise might keep these two together. But things are changing for Ty. Tired from a solid three years on tour, he’s about to make some big decisions. He’d better watch out for his manager, Zane, who doesn’t want anything to change when it doesn’t further line his pockets. Two epilogues catch you up on the five couples and wraps the series up with a bright bow!
Ivy knows who she is & she is happy. She is in her early 20s, already owns her own cottage home, owns a store & is her own boss as a wedding planner. She feels like everything is on track, the only part she is missing that man to go home to every night. She has gone on many first dates, but can’t seem to find “the one”.
Ty is the one who got away. Him & Ivy were high school sweethearts. Best friends since kindy, they planned their whole life together. But when Ty’s family life comes crashing down, he skips town leaving Ivy & his happy ever dreams with her. He goes on to become a successful country music singer who is able to provide for his broken family. It has been 5 years since he left Ivy high & dry, and finally returns back to his hometown of Willow Springs for his sisters wedding – Hoping to reconcile with Ivy as friends.
Only when Ivy & Ty reunite, not only is it fiery & full of many arguments, there is a lust connection both can’t help but act on. This lust connection turns into the love they once have. But with Ty having to go on tour soon & Ivy having to stay in Willow Springs with her successful wedding planning business, they know their love has an expiry date. But does love ever really have an expiry date?
This was a beautiful second chance / small town romance, with a side of rockstar romance. The love that Ty & Ivy have is so raw & real. I was hoping for their HEA throughout! Ivy was such a strong heroine & definitely put Ty in his place when needed. She also was the perfect girlfriend for his rockstar lifestyle & I was glad Ty saw this. Their journey is https://datingranking.net/it/gli-agricoltori-appuntamenti-siti/ drama filled, but they do eventually get their HEA.
Being book #5 in the Willow Springs, we also get a second epilogue where we get to read about all the other couples with their children. I wouldn’t be surprised if another series is written featuring their children – And I would be all here for it!
